The initial name list is prepared from the provided TXT export containing name, gender, and related-name fields. Comment-prefixed lines are skipped and each entry is normalized for exact search, tag generation, and relational imports.
The source file header includes attribution and licensing details for the provided export. Those details should remain documented in production deployment notes.
External links and third-party services
Some pages may link to third-party destinations or rely on third-party ad services. Baby Names Explorer does not control external sites or their policies, and visitors use those external services under the third party's own terms and privacy practices.
Third-party providers may update their technologies or compliance requirements over time, so the site's implementation may change in response to those requirements.
How the content is organized
The site is organized around collection pages for broad browsing and individual profile pages for deeper detail. That keeps it easy to start with a theme and then move into meaning, origin, pronunciation, and related names when you want a closer look.

What is not claimed
Meaning, origin, pronunciation, popularity, and cultural notes are not automatically assumed from the source TXT export. Those fields remain empty until a compliant source or manual editorial process supplies them.

The site's policies, terms, ad handling, and methodology notes may be updated over time as the product, data sources, and compliance requirements evolve. Continued use of the site after those updates means the visitor accepts the current version of this page.
